the room was charming with lovely antique furniture, but no air conditioning.

Excellent breakfast spread with friendly kitchen staff.
The elevator struggles to accommodate more than two people at once, and the constant sirens from the nearby fire station made it hard to relax. Housekeeping was lackluster. they didn't replenish any toilet paper or make our beds during our six-day stay. A one-key policy for our family room was frustrating, as it meant constant coordination to access the room.

This was my first visit to Munich, and I loved staying at Hotel Altmuenchen By Blattl! The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to Marienplatz and Karlsplatz, with a metro station only two blocks away. My room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the breakfast offered plenty of options.
No notable negatives.

the stay here was such a let down. housekeeping was absolutely pathetic, never once taking out our trash. I expected a complimentary gift for all this inconvenience, but alas, nothing. gratefully, the breakfast was decent, but just couldn’t overlook the room mishaps. Altmuenchen By Blattl leaves much to be desired.

The perfect location for starting our tour, just a short walk to Marienplatz. The kids loved the easy access to shops and restaurants nearby. The breakfast spread was nice, and the friendly staff made our stay enjoyable and relaxing after our long travels.
My wife says that the parking situation was tricky for families.

I really enjoyed my time here, especially the fast WiFi and the relaxing bar area where I could chill. The breakfast spread was tasty and filling. I loved that I could grab a cold beer at the bar after a long day. If I had to mention something, the elevator felt a bit small, but it didn't bother me much. 🥨

Enjoyed the central location, just a short walk to Marienplatz and close to public transport for easy city access. Breakfast featured a great variety, including breads, meats, cheeses, and eggs—definitely a highlight. Rooms were clean and comfortable, especially loved the quiet atmosphere on the upper floors. However, the lack of air conditioning made it hard to sleep on warmer nights, and opening the window brought in street noise. A woman complained about the humid air after showers, which echoed my feelings. The furniture felt a bit outdated, needing some renovation for a fresher look. Despite these drawbacks, staff were really accommodating and helped make our stay more enjoyable.

Sightseers Paradise
The breakfast was rich and delicious! Seriously, it had everything I could wish for, fresh breads, meats, cheeses, and eggs. I even managed to make a decent sandwich to take with me when I headed out exploring the area. The room offered a nice peaceful atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after long days.
It wasn’t cheap, but given the quality, I’d say it was acceptable.
